Man accused of sexually abusing a child for years is arrested, claims he was blackmailed into having sex with victim

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A 36-year-old is behind bars after a teenager came forward with allegations that she had been sexually abused by the man for years.

FOX 29 reports the victim, who is now 16-years-old, reported the abuse to her therapist, saying that she had been blackmailed into having sex with Angel Corrales-Gonzalez for years.

Police arrested him on charges of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child but he claims he was the one being blackmailed into having sex with the girl.

He says he recorded the sex acts and was forced into sending the videos to the person who was blackmailing him.

No word on what that may have been but the investigation into the abuse continues.
