SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A man is in custody after he broke into a South Side convenience store and threatened the employees.
Officers were dispatched to the 7-11 store on Fair Avenue just before 4 A.M.
Employees say the store was still locked man broke through the glass in the front door.
He got inside and began chasing the workers with a couple of screwdrivers he had in his hands.
A man riding by on his bike saw what was going on and tried to stop the intruder.
Police got there quickly and took the intruder into custody. He had some cuts from the broken glass.
The employees weren’t hurt but the cyclist who tried to stop the attack had a cut on his wrist.
