Man arrested after shooting gun outside HEB on San Antonio’s Northwest Side, no injuries reported
SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — As officials were dealing with flooded roads throughout the region Tuesday afternoon, the Leon Valley Police Department had to pause to deal with a man who started shooting a gun at a Northwest Side HEB.
Police say they were called to the grocery store on Bandera Road near Loop 410 at around 1 p.m.
The man reportedly fired a gun into the ground near the entrance of the store, then started walking away.
Officers apprehended the man and took him into custody. His name hasn’t been released and police tell KENS 5 that nobody was injured in the shooting.
It’s not clear why the man fired his gun but investigators don’t believe he was targeting anybody in particular.
The store stayed open after the incident.
KTSA News will update this developing story when more details are released.
