Man arrested, charged with setting fire that destroyed a San Antonio apartment building

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — An arrest has been made in connection with an arson fire that destroyed a San Antonio apartment building that left 18 people homeless.

Bren Garza, a 39 year old resident of the Brix at Terrell Hills apartments on Harry Wurzbach Road was arrested as flames burned through the building early Thursday morning.

No injuries were reported in the fire but the residents, including several children lost their belongings.

Garza has been charged with arson of a habitation.
