SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A 43 year old man is in trouble after he attached the price tags from lower priced bottles of wine onto the more expensive bottles of vino.

Hoang Ngyuen is accused of making the illegal price swaps at several San Antonio H-E-B stores.

How did the law finally catch the Pinot pirate?

Ngyuen was asked for his ID while checking out at the H-E-B at Loop 1604 and Bandera. When the manager started asking questions, Ngyuen took off.

He forget to take his ID card with him so police were able to track him down.

Ngyuen swapped the price tags on 35 bottles and paid $170 for $4,000 worth of wine before his grape grab came to an end.
