CONVERSE, Tex. (KTSA News) — Seguin police arrested a man Wednesday they say had more than five kilos of meth during a traffic stop in the city.
Police say they stopped 28-year-old Roberto Lopez at around 4:15 p.m. in the 2400 block of North Guadalupe Street for a traffic stop.
During that stop, officers searched his pickup truck and found the meth and a .45 caliber handgun inside. The meth has an estimated street value of $70,000.
Police arrested Lopez and later turned him over to the U.S. Marshals because of the volume of the drug. He is currently facing federal drug charges.
