Man charged with murdering his mother in Wimberly

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A 29 year old man is in custody after his mother was found dead in her home in Wimberly.

After an abandoned call to 9-1-1, Hays County Deputies made their way to the home on Brookmeadow Drive Saturday morning.

They arrived to find the body of 60 year old Sara Kuenzli inside the home.

Also there, her son, Jeremiah Kuenzli.

Deputies began investigating the woman’s death and eventually charged her son with murder, first degree felony.

The cause of Sara Kuenzli’s death will be determined by the medical examiner.
