SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — It started as a call about a shooting at a Northeast side apartment complex but firefighters were called when smoke was seen coming out of the building.
At around 4:15 A.M. Tuesday, San Antonio Police Officers responded to a call from the 3800 block of Barrington Street.
That’s where someone reported hearing several gunshots. But when the officers arrived, they could see smoke coming from the apartment.
Firefighters knocked the door down and went inside.
That’s where the body of a man, dead from four gunshot wounds was found.
His name hasn’t been released and the cause of the fire hasn’t been determined.
The investigations into the fire and shooting are underway.
