Man dies of injuries suffered in crash with 18-wheeler

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) – A man who crashed into an eighteen-wheeler in the city’s South Side has died at a hospital.
Police say the man was speeding on Applewhite Road around 11 this morning when a tire blew out. He drove over the median and onto the opposite lane of traffic where he collided with an 18-wheeler.
The man was rushed to a hospital and pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
