SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — It’s life in prison for a man found guilty of killing, then dismembering and burning the remains of his ex-girlfriend.
According to KSAT-12, Andres Tarnava was arrested and charged with murdering Marisol Klingelhofer in April of 2021.
He was detained as a person of interest in her murder about a month later and admitted to a Texas Ranger that he had shot Klingelhofer in the face.
Two witnesses also testified against Tarnava.
Tarnava reportedly told the Ranger he shot the woman because she had stolen some items belonging to his father.
Her burned remains were found on some property in South Bexar County that is owned by Tarnava.
He was found guilty by a jury in June and sentenced to life Monday.
