Man gets shot then bit by a dog while breaking into San Antonio home

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — There’s no word on what a man who broke into a San Antonio home was trying to steal but what he did leave with… probably hurt….a lot.

He was trying to get into the home on Marshall Street after midnight Monday but the homeowner heard him and grabbed a gun.

After confronting the crook, the homeowner fired a shot at him hitting the man in the hand.

Then the homeowner’s dog bit him in the leg.

Police showed up and the man was treated at the scene for his bite and bullet wounds.

The homeowner…and the dog will not be charged.
