Man hit by vehicle, dies while trying to cross IH-35 in San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A man is dead after he tried crossing IH-35 on San Antonio’s Northeast side.
It was around 12:30 A.M. Wednesday when the man attempted to make his way across the Southbound lanes of the highway at the O’Connor Road exit.
He was struck by a vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police closed the Southbound lanes of 35 for hours while they investigated.
They say the driver who hit the man will not be charged.
The victim’s name hasn’t been released.
