PARIS (AP) – Let her eat cake?

A man seemingly disguised as an old woman in a wheelchair chucked a chunk of cake at the Mona Lisa at the Louvre Museum in Paris.

The 36-year-old man was transferred to a police psychiatric unit, pending an investigation into possible charges of damage of a cultural artifact.

Videos posted on social media show a young man in a wig and lipstick arriving in a wheelchair.

The cake flinging left a white creamy smear on the glass. But guards wiped the frosting off – and the famous work by Leonardo da Vinci wasn’t damaged.
