Man on a bicycle tries to elude Castle Hills Police officers

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A man is under arrest after a leading Castle Hills Police on a brief chase while on his bike….and holding an hatchet.

It started at 3:30 A.M. when patrol officers spotted a fresh tag that had been spray painted on the Blanco North shopping center.

As the officers were looking around the see if the vandal was still in the area, a man on a bike rode past them.

He was holding a pole with a hatchet attached to the end of it, so the officers went after him.

Since a police patrol vehicle is always faster than a guy riding a bike while holding a hatchet, the chase didn’t last long.

The man had several stolen items in his possession along with a few cans of spray paint.

Officers also learned that the man had an outstanding warrant.

He was arrested on several charges.
