Man on skateboard hit by train in downtown San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A man is in critical condition after he was hit by a train Sunday night.

He was riding his skateboard near the tracks at the intersection of South Presa and Conrad at around 10 P.M. Sunday.

He jumped off his skateboard but he wasn’t able to stop going forward and was hit.

The train dragged the man a short distance before it stopped.

KSAT 12 is reporting that the man lost a leg and suffered serious head trauma.

He was brought to Brooke Army Medical Center.
