Man riding motorcycle dies in crash on San Antonio’s North side

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — San Antonio police are reporting the death of a man on a motorcycle who got into a crash with a pickup Thursday morning.
It was at the Probandt and West Mitchell Street intersection at around 4 A.M.
The motorcyclist was heading North on Probandt when the Southbound pickup driver made a left hand turn and crashed head on into the motorcyclist.
The victim suffered extensive injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The pickup driver did stop and stayed with the victim until help arrived. She tells police it was very dark at the time and she didn’t see the man.
No charges are pending against her.
The victim’s name hasn’t been released.
