Man shoots himself in the groin while holstering a nine-millimeter at McQueeney Gun Club

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) –The Guadalupe County Sheriff’s office says a man is recovering after shooting himself…in the junk.
It happened at the McQueeney Gun Club on FM 725, Saturday afternoon.
The man was holstering a nine-millimeter Smith and Wesson and the firearm went off.
The bullet hit him in the genitals.
Thankfully, a quick acting gun club employee was nearby and got the bleeding to stop.
The shooting victim’s name hasn’t been released but he was alert and in good spirits when he was transported to the San Antonio Military Medical Center.
