Man shot and killed while walking on San Antonio’s East Side

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Police are investigating the death of a man who was gunned down while walking along an East side street.
He was in the 500 block of Sterling Drive at around 4 A.M. Wednesday when a dark colored vehicle rolled up beside him.
When the man approached the vehicle, someone inside opened fire.
He took a bullet to the abdomen and died at the scene.
The shooter sped away from the scene and hasn’t been located.
The victim’s name hasn’t been released but police believe he was homeless.
