Man shot by masked gunmen during robbery at San Antonio apartment

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Police are searching for two men who are involved in a shooting at a Northeast side apartment complex.

It was around 11:30 P.M. Sunday when the victim and a passenger pulled up to the Judson Meadow Apartments on Judson Road. They were approached by two men wearing ski masks.

Both men held up guns and demanded money from the victim.

Instead of handing over some cash, he put the car in gear and tried to get away. But one of the men started shooting and the victim was hit in the abdomen before crashing into another vehicle.

The men ran off and the victim was brought to Brooke Army Medical Center where he is in critical condition. His passenger was not hurt.

Police are still searching for the masked men.
