Man shot during altercation with ex-girlfriend’s new boyfriend

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A man in his 20’s is recovering after he was shot by his ex-girlfriend’s new boyfriend.

KENS 5 reports that it happened at a West side apartment complex at around 1:15 A.M. Monday.

Police got the call from the 900 block of Jean Street where a man and his girlfriend had gone to her ex-boyfriend’s apartment to gather some belongings.

The men got into an argument and at some point the new boyfriend pulled a gun and shot the ex-boyfriend several times.

The victim was brought to the hospital with gunshot wounds to his legs. His injuries are non-life threatening.

Police are still trying to locate the shooter who sped off in a dark colored SUV.

The investigation continues.
