Man sleeping on railroad tracks on San Antonio’s Northeast side hit by train

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — San Antonio Police are investigating the death of a man who was hit by a train on the city’s Northeast side.
It happened just after 12:30 A.M. Tuesday on the tracks at NE Loop 410 and IH-35 South.
Police are reporting that the man was sleeping on the tracks. The conductor spotted him but couldn’t stop in time.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name hasn’t been released.
