Man slips, dies after being run over by VIA bus

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A man was killed after being run over by a VIA bus on San Antonio’s east side Monday afternoon.

The man was chasing the bus at the stop at Commerce Street and Walters Street when he slipped and fell under the bus’ rear tires, according to a statement by VIA Metropolitan Transit.

VIA said San Antonio Police have confirmed the man was killed, but no other details are available at this time.
