Man tells San Antonio Police he was pistol whipped and robbed at Northeast side motel

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — San Antonio Police are looking for two men who reportedly robbed a man who was staying at a motel on the Northeast side.

FOX 29 reports that officers were called to the Hallmark Inn on IH-35 at around 12:30 A.M. Monday morning.

The victim told them he had heard some noise outside of his room and when he opened the door to investigate, two men ran in.

He says he was pistol whipped a number of times before the men took nearly $1,000 in cash and some valuables.

The only description of the thieves he could provide is that they were black men wearing hoodies.

The victim wasn’t seriously hurt and the search continues for the men who robbed him.
