Man wanted for capital murder in Houston arrested following high-speed chase in New Braunfels

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A man wanted for capital murder is in custody after a high-speed chase in New Braunfels.

Police say it all went down at around 10:15 a.m. Tuesday when officers responded to a call about a possible burglary in the 2600 block of White Wing Way.

When the officers showed up, they say two men jumped in a car and sped off.

The chase made its way to the I-35 access road near Buc-ee’s before the speeding car crashed into another vehicle. Investigators say two men jumped out and made a run for it, but they were soon captured.

No names have been released, but police say one of the men was wanted for capital murder in Houston.

Both have been charged with evading in a vehicle and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
