SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A man wanted for shooting a woman in San Marcos Tuesday night has been captured in Louisiana.

San Marcos police say an 18-year-old woman was shot multiple times on Mill Street at around 7:55 p.m. Tuesday.  She’s expected to survive.

Police were able to identify 20-year-old Davonte Miller as their suspect yesterday and put out a warrant for his arrest.

He was captured last night in Crowley, Louisiana, by police there — after initially trying to get away in a separate crime.

There, Miller is facing hit and run, flight from officer and drug possession charges.

When he is returned to Hays County, police say he will face an assault with a deadly weapon charge.
