Man wearing just his underwear caught setting fire at Austin apartment

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Police in Austin had no problem identifying an arsonist who set fire to an apartment complex.

He was the guy not wearing pants.

KXAN is reporting firefighters got a call from the Harris Branch Apartments Tuesday morning.

A fire was burning on the third floor and while they were preparing to extinguish the flames they noticed a man wearing just his underwear was starting another fire.

Austin police officers showed up and took the man into custody.

His name hasn’t been released.

The fire was put out quickly but there is a lot of water damage in two of the units.
