Mariachi arrested for DWI after crashing into Jack in the Box

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) –  A local mariachi has been arrested on suspicion of driving drunk after slamming into a West Side restaurant.

Fifty-three-year-old Ismael Espinoza and another member of a mariachi group were on the way home after a gig  when the SUV crashed into the front of the Jack in the Box on Culebra Road at 24th Street around 3 a.m. Thursday.

No one was hurt. Espinoza was given a sobriety test on the scene and charged with Driving While Intoxicated.

Bond  is set at $2,000.00.
