Medical Examiner identifies 18-year-old shot to death on San Antonio’s Southwest Side

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — The Bexar County Medical Examiner has identified an 18-year-old who was shot and killed on the Southwest Side last week.
Police were called to the 200 block of Carranza Street at around 3 a.m. Thursday. That’s where they found Xavier Jason Skelton with multiple gunshot wounds.
He was brought to a local hospital where he died a short time later.
Police say they don’t yet have a motive for the shooting and that there were no witnesses or surveillance video.
The investigation is still underway.
