Medical Examiner releases name of man who drowned in backyard pool on San Antonio’s Northeast Side

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — The Bexar County Medical Examiner has released the name of a man who was found dead in his swimming pool on the Northeast Side over the weekend.
41-year-old Joseph Rubalcaba’s wife tells police she had been looking for him and at around 9 a.m. Saturday, found him in the pool in their backyard.
A neighbor performed CPR but Rubalcaba was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say he drowned in the overnight hours and that there was no sign of a struggle or foul play.
No further details have been released.
