Medical helicopter makes emergency landing at airport on San Antonio’s South Side

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA New) — A medical transport helicopter had to make an emergency landing Tuesday night.
FOX 29 reports that it happened at around 10 p.m.
The helicopter was transporting a patient but a mechanical issue developed, forcing the chopper to land at Stinson Municipal Airport.
The patient on-board was taken to an area hospital by EMS and there are no reports of injuries to the crew members.
