Medina County Sheriff’s Office finds body of driver swept away by high water Monday night

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — The search for a driver who was swept away by high water in Medina County comes to a tragic end.

The Medina County Sheriff’s Office has posted on their Facebook page that they were called to an area near Park Road 37 at around 9 p.m. Monday.

They were able to locate a vehicle but there was no sign of the driver.

After an extensive search, the body of a 20-year-old man was found.

The sheriff’s office says the name of the victim will not be released and sends their condolences to the family.
