Meeting on Alamo’s Future Tuesday

It’s the first of many of these meetings.

A meeting Tuesday night gives the public the first look at the process to Reimagine the Alamo.

Starting at 6pm at the Henry B Gonzalez Convention Center’s Stars at Night Ballroom, a number of local politicians, city leaders, Alamo Management Committee members, and member of the Reimagining team will be on hand to talk about the process, answer questions, and take suggestions as the Alamo Master Planning process gets underway.

“It is an exciting time to be a fan of Texas history and archeological discovery,” Texas Land Commissioner George P. Bush said, in a statement. “The more than 300 items uncovered by our archeological team will not only provide valuable insights into life in Texas dating back hundreds of years, but also help us envision a better future for the Alamo with exciting educational exhibits and innovative ways of telling the Alamo’s complete story.

The meeting Tuesday starts at 6pm.
