Missing El Paso woman located in Austin

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A 30 year old woman from El Paso who was reported missing last week has been found in Austin.

Lynette Martinez had traveled to San Antonio to attend the UFC event at the AT&T Center March 25.

She was staying with a friend in West Bexar County before she disappeared.

University of Texas Police located Martinez in downtown Austin just after 1 P.M. Sunday.

The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office says Martinez is “safe and alive” but didn’t say why she was in Austin or why her friends and family weren’t able to contact her for a week.
