Mother and infant among six people shot and killed in California

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Authorities are reporting the death of six people, including a mother and a six-month old baby, following a shooting in California’s Central Valley.

The Tulare County Sheriff’s Office is looking for at least two suspects in the shooting that happened around 3:30 a.m. local time. Investigators say the shootings happened at a home in Goshen, a town of around 3,000 people roughly 40 minutes southeast of Fresno.

According to reports, two victims were found dead in the street and a third victim was found dead in a doorway.

Deputies would also find three additional victims inside the home, one man dying at the hospital.

Sheriff Mike Boudreaux tells reporters he thinks the shootings were linked to a narcotics investigation that triggered a search warrant last week. Investigators also think the shootings are gang-related.

This is a developing story and we will pass along more information as it becomes available.
