NWS: Heat Advisory in effect through Thursday evening
SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory for the San Antonio area.
Forecasters say temperatures will climb into the 103-105 degree range for areas within the advisory Wednesday and Thursday.
The hot temperatures will affect an area stretching from the I-35 Corridor into the Coastal Plains.
Heat related illness is possible for those not taking the following proper precautions:
▪ Drink plenty of water, take frequent breaks out of the sun, and check up on relatives
and neighbors.
▪ Limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening and know the symptoms of heat
exhaustion and heat stroke.
▪ Never leave young children or pets unattended in vehicles.
