National Weather Service issues “Excessive Heat” warning

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — July in San Antonio.

We EXPECT it’s going to be hotter than H-E-double hockey sticks.

So it should come as no surprise that the National Weather Service has issued an excessive heat warning for the first few days of the week.

The temperature is expected to shatter records Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. The predicted high for Monday? 106. 104 on Tuesday and 101 on Wednesday.

The warning from the NWS is urging caution as the afternoon high hovers in the triple digits for the next few days.

Drink a lot of water, limit outdoor activities to early morning or evening, never leave children and pets in your vehicle and check on your older relatives and neighbors.
