National Weather Service issues heat advisory for San Antonio and surrounding areas

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) – The heat is on! The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory for San Antonio and surrounding areas from 2 this afternoon until 7 tonight.

AccuWeather meteorologist Dean Devore says we can expect temperatures near 100 with real feel temps from 105 to 110 and it’ll be even hotter as we approach the first day of summer.

“I think tomorrow’s the worst. We could crack the century mark on the thermometer and we could have real feels as high as 110 in the afternoon,” said Devore.

The heat continues on Friday, the first day of summer, but  Devore says a breeze could keep the real feel temperatures between 100 to 105. There’s a chance for a couple of showers Saturday and Sunday.
