NEW YORK (AP) – Neil Diamond’s life will be the subject of a Broadway musical that will feature his music. The production does not yet have a title. Diamond says he’s always loved Broadway and many of his early songs were inspired by shows like “West Side Story,” “My Fair Lady” and “Fiddler on the Roof.” The musical’s book will be written by Anthony McCarten, who wrote the screenplay for “Bohemian Rhapsody.” One of the show’s producers is Bob Gaudio of The Four Seasons, who produced the Neil Diamond-Barbra Streisand duet, “You Don’t Bring Me Flowers.”
