New Braunfels gas station robbed at gunpoint

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Police in New Braunfels are looking for a man who robbed a gas station early Thursday morning.

It happened just after 2:00 A.M at the Texaco in the 1100 block of I-35 North.

The man walked into the store and showed the clerk a handgun. He then handed over a note that demanded money.

The employee gave the man an undisclosed amount of cash.

The crook ran off  and Police weren’t able to locate him during the initial search of the area.

They are looking for a black male, about 5 feet 3 inches tall with a slender build.

When he robbed the store he was wearing a gray pullover sweatshirt on top of a blue and white striped hoodie. He was wearing dark jogging pans and white, low top Nike’s.

A reward of up to $4,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest.
