New Braunfels utility crews discover human skeletal remains
SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) – New Braunfels police have the daunting task of identifying skeletal remains found by utility crews.
The workers made the grisly discovery Tuesday afternoon near FM 1044 and Green Valley Road.
“Initial forensic analysis indicates that the skeletal remains that were discovered are those of an adult human,” said David Ferguson, communications coordinator for the New Braunfels Police Department.
Information about the age, gender, condition and manner of death is pending further forensic analysis.
Meanwhile, Green Valley Road between FM 1044 and Ron Road will be closed most of the day as the investigation continues. Traffic will be diverted down Ron Road to Morningside Drive.
A media briefing is scheduled around 4 this afternoon.
