No charges expected against driver who hit a pedestrian on San Antonio’s West side

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A pedestrian has been struck and killed as she crossed a West side street Thursday night.
San Antonio Police report that the woman was crossing Castroville Road near Balboa at around 9:15 P.M. when she was hit by a woman driving a van.
The driver stopped and called for help.
The victim’s name hasn’t been released. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the driver is not expected to be charged.
