No STAAR Re-tests After Glitch

No re-testing.

The word from the State on what will be done in the aftermath of computer glitches that wiped out the work of thousands of students taking STAAR tests across Texas earlier this week.

“It truly is the fairest thing the State could do” the Northside Independent School District’s Pascual Gonzalez told KTSA News.

He said the decision removes at least one potential distraction from classrooms during what is a busy time in schools.

“There’s still a lot of testing to be done–and hopefully the remainder of the STAAR testing calendar is unaffected by whatever these glitches are on the part of the contractor” Gonzalez said.
