No vote today on San Antonio city manager bonus

The San Antonio city council did not take a vote this afternoon on a $100,000 bonus for city manager Sheryl Sculley.

The council met for a special meeting Thursday afternoon that was also to include a discussion on possibly joining Bexar County in suing opioid manufacturers and distributors.

The council met in an executive session for roughly an hour.  After, Mayor Ron Nirenberg came out and flatly announced that no action had been taken during the session and adjourned the meeting.

It is possible both the bonus for Sculley and legal action against opioid manufacturers could be discussed in the future.
