No yolk. Truck hauling eggs crashes into bridge on Dallas highway

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — It’s a less than egg-cellent morning commute in Dallas where an 18 wheeler hauling eggs has crashed into a bridge.

It was just before 5 A.M. Monday on I-30 when the driver slammed into a bridge at the I-45/U.S 75 interchange.

The impact sent more than 35,000 eggs scrambling across the highway, creating one….shell of a mess for crews to clear up.

To make matters worse, fuel from the truck leaked onto the highway as well, creating an omelet that even the hungriest of motorist will pass up.

The truck driver wasn’t hurt in the crash but crews on the scene are saying it’s going to take several hours to clean the mess.

Looks like their job isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.
