Northside ISD student arrested, charged with bringing handgun on campus

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A student at Stevens High School is facing charges related to bringing a handgun on campus.
Northside Independent School District officials confirmed the arrest on Thursday, and the statement says the apprehension was made after an anonymous tip was made.
Officers on campus found and arrested the student without incident.
NISD police say a search of the student turned up a gun, which was then taken by officers.
No injuries were reported.
