NWS: Severe weather chances reduced for San Antonio, Hill Country

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — The National Weather Service is predicting severe weather as early as Wednesday night, and that could mean large hail and heavy rain for some parts of South Central Texas.

For now, weather forecasters are downgrading the chance of severe weather for San Antonio, the Hill Country and part of the I-35 Corridor.

The Alamo City now falls in a Level 1 of 5 risk for severe thunderstorms, but should they arrive you are urged to be on the lookout for large hail and locally heavy rain.

The chance for thunderstorms extends through Friday will skies clearing up for the weekend.
