San Antonio officer-involved shooting lands three suspects in police custody

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA NEWS) – Three people have been taken into custody after an officer-involved shooting in the Northwest side.

Police found two people sitting in a stolen vehicle outside the Rodeway Inn on Laureate near IH 10 at Huebner Road. They parked behind the car, got out and approached the suspects.

Chief William Mcmanus says the car doors were open and the driver backed up, trapping the officers. One of the officers fired a shot and the driver stopped. No one was injured.

A third man in a motel room also was taken into custody on an unrelated felony warrant.
