A San Antonio police officer is on administrative leave after shooting a man to death during an armed domestic disturbance last night on the West Side.

The eight-year veteran cop fired three rounds at a man with a knife after using a Taser proved ineffective.

The incident was in the 200 block of Zarzamora. Police Chief William McManus says from what he’s hearing, “the officer did everything right.”
