Officers injured in struggle with a man at a San Antonio strip club

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Two cops were hurt and a police vehicle damaged when things got a little crazy at a strip club in Northeast San Antonio.

It all started at 3:30 A.M. Friday when police were called to Diamonds Showclub near Loop 410.

A man had violated a protective order and he had an outstanding warrant so the officers drove over to pick him up.

But when they tried to arrest the man, he put up a fight.

Both officers were hurt during the altercation. They got some help from the club’s security staff.

To make matters worse, while the officers were struggling with the man, a drunk driver came along and crashed into the patrol car.

The driver and the struggling strip club patron were both arrested and the officers were treated for minor injuries they received during the fight.

No word on how much damage was done to the patrol vehicle.
