One hurt when gunmen open fire at a home on San Antonio’s East Side
SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Police are looking for three people who stood on an East Side street corner and fired their guns into a home.
At around 12:40 A.M. Wednesday, the men were at the corner of Dakota and Olive Streets, armed with handguns and a rifle.
They started shooting at one home in particular but nobody was inside at the time.
However, a man who was sleeping in the home next door was struck in the ankle by a stray bullet.
He was brought to a hospital and his injury is considered non-life threatening.
The shooters jumped in a car and sped away before police arrived.
Officers found bullet casings all over the road and located a rifle that was tossed to the side of the road a short distance from where the shooting took place.
No arrests have been made and investigators haven’t been able to get a description of the vehicle the shooters were in.
